Woah! What a day of walking walking and more walking in orchard road!
I met ling and peiyan today for shopping! It has been a long time since the 3 of us shop together. Peiyan made a note that she MUST go to Heeren's NUM which she CLAIMS that she wants to look at the slippers. Well, we know it's otherwise.
Our first stop was Far East Plaza. Din't really see anything that I like, and we spend our first cent of the day buying snacks from Old Chang Kee. Squid head rulz!
Next, we headed to Lido to find Soochin to see how was her sales at Gingersnaps. Haha! After the chit chit chat chats... we've gotten a sudden craving for food again. This time, it's ice cream! We decided to go McDonald's for the ice creams. I ordered a McFlurry while ling and py got themselves a strawberry sundae and choco sundae respectively. Yet again, I spent my money on food.
Guess where is our last destination? You're right! Heeren! Woah, py is getting excited man! HAha... We went to NUM the frist thing we reach Heeren. Hm, obviously py wasnt in the mood to look at her slippers, because of a reason that we all know of. HAhaha!!
Anyway... I dint see anything I like at Heeren too. SO! I din't buy anything today!! HAiz, wasted trip!
At the end of the day... It's EATING YET AGAIN! We were deciding where to settle our dinner: Makan Sutra at esplanade, or Food Republic at Wisma.
After a round of SICCORS! PAPER! STONE! (I won!)... We finally decide to go esplanade. Once we reach Makan Sutra, we saw a group of TV crews alighting from a mini-bus. Out of curiousity, we followed the crew closely to find out who were the celebrities. After a moment of tail-gating, we realised it's Michelle Chia and Gurmit Singh. Oooo... Michelle Chia is pretty pretty!!
We grabbed a table and ordered Hokkien Mee, Cha Guey Diao and Lala. The food was... MARVELLOUS! It was a worthy trip indeed!
Well... it's knock out time for us... so, it's Home Sweet Home after dinner!
